Where does your team actually stand?
Most field teams have never been scored against a standard, so nobody can say which people are ready and which are being sent out to find out at the customer’s expense. The diagnostic answers that question with evidence instead of instinct.
The Readiness Diagnostic is a structured baseline of a sample of your team against the nine dimensions of the PRACTIS™ Method. Your people run a simulated customer conversation built from your real situation, we score it against the published standard, and you get a written report naming who is ready, who is not, and what to coach first.
How it works
-
A scoping call
Thirty minutes. We learn what your team sells, what the conversation actually looks like at the kitchen table, and which trade vocabulary your people use. No slides.
-
We build your scenario
We write a simulated customer conversation from your real situation — your offer, your objections, your market — rather than a generic sales roleplay.
-
A sample of your team runs it
A cross-section: your strongest performer, a middle performer, and a recent hire. Practice is private to each person. Nobody is graded in front of their manager.
-
We score against the nine dimensions
Every conversation is scored on the same published standard, so results are comparable between people and repeatable next quarter.
-
You get the report and a working session
A written baseline plus an hour with us walking through it. You keep the report whether or not you ever buy anything from us.
What you get
- A readiness score per participant against each of the nine dimensions, with the conversation evidence behind it.
- The pattern across your sample — which dimensions are strong team-wide and which are systematically weak, which is usually more actionable than any individual score.
- The single coaching intervention we would run first, and why that one before the others.
- A specific answer to "which of these people would I route a paid lead to today?"
- The scenario we built for you, yours to keep and reuse.
The nine dimensions you get scored on
These are published in full, before you buy anything, so you can see exactly what is being measured and argue with it.
- Inner Game Does performance at the fortieth conversation match the fourth?
- Human Does the rep adjust pace and register to the person, or run one script at everyone?
- Trust Can the customer end the conversation at any point without friction?
- Information Would every claim survive the customer checking it?
- Tactical Does the rep read sequence, or fire everything they know at once?
- Competitive Does the conversation end in a clear ask, or trail off into a hint?
- Score Is the agreement specific enough to survive the drive home?
- Learning Can the rep name what they changed since this morning?
- Long Game Does a no leave the street more open or less?
What this is not
You have probably bought something in this category before that did not change a close rate. Here is what we are not claiming, stated before you ask.
-
It is not a demo with your logo on it.
Your people run a real conversation and get real scores. If the scores are unflattering you will see them, because a baseline that only produces good news is worthless as a baseline.
-
It is not a personality or aptitude assessment.
We score observable performance in a customer conversation. We do not profile people, and we do not tell you who to fire.
-
It is not a surveillance tool.
Practice is private to each participant. Managers see performance at the scoring stage, not every rehearsal. Reps who feel watched stop practising, and that costs you the whole programme.
-
It does not come with a results guarantee.
We are still instrumenting outcome data and we will publish it with denominators when it holds up. Anyone promising you a specific lift on a first call is guessing.
Questions
How long does the diagnostic take?
Plan on two to three weeks end to end. Most of that is scheduling your people, not our work — the scenario build takes a few days and each participant needs under an hour.
How many people should participate?
A sample, not the whole team. Enough to see a pattern and cheap enough that you are not committing your organisation to anything — typically a strong performer, a middle performer, and a recent hire per region or role you care about.
What does it cost?
We quote it on the scoping call once we know the number of participants and roles involved. We are not going to put a number on this page that turns out to be wrong for your situation.
Do we have to buy anything afterwards?
No. You keep the report and the scenario either way. If the baseline says your team is already performing to standard, the honest answer is that you do not need us yet, and we will tell you that.
Is this a fit for our team size?
It works best for organisations with roughly 50 to 500 customer-facing people who influence a sale — canvassers, in-home consultants, comfort specialists, and service technicians included, not just people with "sales" in the job title. Below that band the economics rarely justify a managed programme, and we would rather say so on this page than on a third call.
Can we just run the PRACTIS Method ourselves instead?
Yes, and the full standard is published free at practis.ai/method with nothing gated. The diagnostic exists because scoring your own people against a standard you have just read is hard to do objectively the first time.
Start with a scoping call
Thirty minutes, and you will know by the end of it whether this is worth doing. If it is not, we will say so — we would rather lose the deal here than on the invoice.
